Brothers At War : Singer /Journalist, Emma Agu Blasts Jim Iyke: "He Is A Thief, Liar And Fraudster" (Must read)

Shortly after his alleged break-up with Ghanaian born actress, Nadia Buari, Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke and Nigerian born US based musician and owner of Nigerianfm.com, Emma Agu, have been engaging in a hot war of words with Jim accusing Emma as being the brain behind the break-up.

Pandemonium and panic broke out on Sunday, and that panic gripped the ancient city of Boji-Boji-Agbor, in the Ika South local government area of Delta state. It began when an aide, one Hilary Ibegbulem, and three armed thugs working for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, confronted an Agbor based Hotelier, Mr. Sunny Okonye, and shot at him several times with a pump action shot gun at close range.

According to several eyewitnesses of the accounts, sources told SaharaReporters that the attempted murder which occurred in broad daylight, was not unconnected to the burning of Senator Okowa’s 2015 governorship campaign billboard at the College of Education junction, in Agbor. Mr. Okonye was accused to have done the burning of the billboard, himself.

Boko Haram Militants Kill 18 Villagers In Borno

Boko Haram militants have attacked the village of Allagarno in Askari local government of Borno state killing 18 persons.

Villagers reported being woken up to heavy artillery bombardment by militants late Tuesday. The militants razed most of the village leaving behind death and destruction.

Chibok Abductions: Borno State To Spend N150m In Support of The 53 Escapee Girls And Families

The Borno State government today announced that it will spend N150 million to fund a rehabilitation program for the 53 girls who escaped from Boko Haram captivity and to support parents in Chibok whose sources of livelihood have been impaired by the abductions.

Speaking to the presidential fact-finding committee in Maiduguri, Governor Shettima said a committee had been set up to work with all stakeholders and international organizations in support of the girls ‎and their parents.

The governor expressed regret that in Nigeria, more emphasis is placed on politics than on governance, which is supposed to focus on solving problems.
