Olusegun Dada: Unveiling the scam called Goodluck Jonathan (Y! Politico)

 president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ)

He was unpopular, a man born supposedly without shoes who went through hardship and had luck on his side. This appealed to the hearts of the poor. He was a perfect example of how “God” answers prayers.

During the electoral campaign of 2011, I had various opportunities to discuss with so many people as to why they chose to vote president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) over any of the other presidential candidates. I needed to understand what it was they saw and I couldn’t see. I needed to understand why people will choose a man who had no antecedents whatsoever over another with an excellent track record. I needed to understand why people rooted for a man who didn’t attend any of the presidential debates but chose to attend an interview with a musician instead. I needed to understand. I needed to know.

Unrighteous Money

Money is not a currency of the kingdom of God.

Most Christians do not bother with the words of Jesus.  If they did, they would not be Christians.  Churches carefully avoid Jesus’ words.  They are not words on which a large congregational empire can be built.  When the people heard the words of Jesus, they left in droves.  When Peter understood the message of Jesus, he prevailed on him to change it.  Jesus’ words provide the small gate and narrow road that lead to life that only a few will find. (Matthew 7:14).
